Detling Cricket Club has been at the heart of village life for over 130 years. The club plays every Saturday April – October. We only play “friendly” games at this time although aspire to returning to league cricket. We welcome female and male players and with a grant from Detling Parish Council have expanded our changing facilities to accommodate ladies and gentlemen. On a Tuesday evening a net session is held from 6pm. Feel free to drop in even if the last time you played was at school. Pads, helmets, bats and gloves can be borrowed if you don’t have any kit. Our youngest player is currently still at school and we have several players who are more adequately described as “retired”.

So if you fancy playing or would prefer to come along ,sit in the sun with a cup of tea and watch a game, feel free to do so.
