Monks Meadow

Monks meadow is the field behind Hockers Lane was purchased at auction in 2010, it was named Monk’s Meadow in a competition run by the Parish.

Local resident, John Monk has put in a huge effort in creating paths and tidying up the whole area. We have been pleased with our purchase and the masses of wild flowers and the views have certainly made this a place to walk and enjoy. John has also made and installed some benches so that the views and tranquillity of the area can be enjoyed by all.
