Funded by the Department for Work and Pensions on behalf of the UK government, the Household Support Fund scheme supports vulnerable Kent households in need of help with significantly rising living costs.

The Household Support Fund (food and energy support scheme) is now closed for new applications, with all funding from this round allocated.

If you have already submitted an application, it will still be processed and we will email you about the outcome.

Extension to the Household Support Fund

The Government announced on 2 September 2024 that a further extension to the Household Support Fund will run from September until March 2025.

Once details of the extension are confirmed, we will publish information on any further support schemes delivered by us on behalf of the government on this page.
