Kent County Council Highways intend to close Detling Hill Southbound carriageway (towards Maidstone) from junction with Scragged Oak Road to Jades Crossing for further highway drainage repair works. Traffic will be diverted off from the M2 roundabout.
Diversion routes will be - A249 to M2 London Bound, to A229 Blue Bell Hill Slip Link, Lords Lees Roundabout, to A229 Blue Bell Hill, to M20, exist junction 7 to Detling Hill.
There will be a VMS advance warning sign set out at least 2 weeks prior to the road closure to inform road users. Residents local to the closure will also receive a Start of Work Notice which will be hand delivered by our Contractor.
