It will be necessary to close Hermitage Lane, Detling from 10th September 2026 for up to 6 days.

The road will be closed outside The Old Cottages and The Reservoir.

The alternative route is via Broader Lane, Scragged Oak Road, and vice versa.

It is planned that the road will be closed between 08:00 hrs and 18:00 hrs each day.

The road will only to be closed whilst working teams are accessing the overhead high voltage electrical network spanning across carriageway on 10/09/2026 and 15/09/2026 ONLY.

This is for essential overhead line/pole replacement works to be carried out by UK Power Networks.
