Join the Marmalade Trust for Loneliness Awareness Week 2025

9th–15th June | Hosted by Marmalade Trust

Let’s come together to highlight loneliness and build some connections in your communities. This year’s Loneliness Awareness Week is all about “Meeting Loneliness Together”—a powerful reminder that loneliness is a natural human emotion, and talking about it is the first step in bringing people together.

Why It Matters

Loneliness can affect anyone, regardless of age or background. By raising awareness and encouraging open conversations, we can reduce stigma and help people feel seen, heard, and supported.

A Growing Movement

Since its launch in 2017, Loneliness Awareness Week has grown into a global campaign. In 2024 alone, it reached over 271.5 million people in just one week. It’s supported by the Royal Family, NHS, and many other national organisations.

How You Can Get Involved

· Host or attend an event in your community

· Add your event to the Connection Map on the official website.

· Download free resources to help spread the word.

· Share your story on social media using the campaign hashtag.

Let’s Talk About Loneliness

Whether you're planning an event or simply starting a conversation, every action counts. Together, we can make loneliness less of a taboo and more of a shared human experience.
