Kent County Council is taking part in the 2026-27 National Highways and Transport Surveys, run by measure2improve on behalf of the National Highway & Transport (NHT) Network.

Councils across the UK are inviting residents to share their views on highway and transport services in their area, and Kent is one of them.

We’d like to hear from as wide a range of people as possible. It doesn’t matter if you’ve only just moved to the area or if you do not pay Council Tax. You can complete as many of the surveys as you like by clicking the links or icons below. These will take you to the measure2improve website.

The six topics are:

'A summary of last year's national results is available on the NHT Network's website

The results of each year's surveys are shared with KCC's highway and transportation managers to help us understand what people think about these services and support future planning for roads, walking and cycling, buses and other transport in Kent.

Responses are anonymous. Some questions, such as age range, are included to help us understand who is taking part and whether any groups may be under-represented.

These surveys close on 28 February 2027.
