We are aware that communication and information sharing with residents is key to a successful community. We are hoping to engage with residents to find quick, efficient ways to disseminate information to you and to open a dialogue about issues affecting our parish and community. This is likely to require a new approach and we would very much welcome input on how residents feel this could best be achieved and using what communication methods should be used.

As a starting point, we would like to get a group of residents together to work toward a strategy which might meet your needs. Please contact us to let us know if you would be interested in joining such a group.

Detling Parish Council currently has one vacancy for Parish Councillor and is looking to fill this position by co-option. Meetings are held on the first Tuesday of each month, in the village hall at 7.00 pm.
