It will be necessary to close Aerodrome Approach, Service Road, Detling from 27th September 2026 for up to 1 day.

One way road, the whole length of the road will be closed, but access to businesses and residents to be maintained via Gatemen when it is safe to do so.

The alternative route is via Sittingbourne Road, Chalky Road, South Street Road, Bimbury Lane.

It is planned that the road will be closed between 07:00 hrs and 18:00 hrs.

This is to enable carriageway patching to be carried out by Kent County Council.
